The 2026 Spring Trip will be to the gorgeous landscape and villages of the Alpilles Regional National Park. We will be together, from Friday June 5th until Sunday June 7th. Please check your agenda, block the dates and let us know if you are interested in comining !
DESTINATION
We are going to the Alpilles , drawing/painting in three lovely villages: Maussane-les-Alpilles, Saint-Remy-de-Provence and Eygalieres, all three full of history and beauty. It will again be a short drive of +/- 2,5 hour , so we can get the maximum out of our weekend. We will be stayin in Hotel Val Baussenc in Maussane-les-Alpilles.
CREATIVE PROGRAM
Friday 5th June – Start at 14.00
We will have a warming-up session in the heart of the village of Maussane-les-Alpilles around the square with La Fontaine des Quattre Saisons, the 18th century church and the Lavoir Napoleon III. After the line-up around 16.45 we will go to our hotel a 5 minutes drive away, for check-in and possibly a swim.
19.30 Dinner at the hotel
Saturday 6th June
A full day of drawing – with a cosy lunchbreak- in the idyllic and picturesque town of Saint-Remy-de Provence. Like Vincent van Gogh, you will find beauty on every corner and square. Each day the teachers will have challenging exercises to get the best out of your creative talents.
Sunday 7th June
Our last drawing session will be in the breathtaking village of Eygalieres with its old houses, 12th century chapel and a magnificent view of the Alpilles. Our line-up and goodbye will be around 12.30
Partners are welcome and they will find opportunities for golfing, walking, visit museums, the Roman site of Glanum or relax in our hotel garden and pool.
HOTEL
We will stay at Hotel Val Baussenc, an authentic, renovated “mas Provencal” between olive trees and mediterranean plants. A reservation has been made for 18 rooms: 4 Classic rooms and 14 Superior rooms. Our stay will be on half-board base, so breakfast for Saturday and Sunday are included as well as dinner for Friday and Saturday night. A menu will be arranged for our group (excellent chef). Dinner will be composed of a starter, main course and dessert , with a “forfait” for two glasses of wine pp.

The hotel has a garden , a heated swimming pool, fitness room and hammam.
Pets are welcome (at extra costs)

CANCELLATION TERMS (Hotel policy)
We can hold the rooms free from cancellation-fees until the 1st of May 2026.
In case of cancellation after the 1st of May there will be no refund.

TEACHERS FEE
The Teachers fee ( Marina Kulik and Marina Teding van Berkhout) will in total be € 125,- (payable to the teachers)
