Teaches watercolour painting and life drawing

Marina Kulik, dutch artist, studied Monumental Design and graduated in drawing, graphics and painting. At the end of her studies, she worked in a wide variety of jobs: waitress, DJ, illustrator, marketing manager, teacher and sailor. All of this provided her with “experience and inspiration for life!”

Since 2000 she has been working as a full time independent artist on the Côte d’Azur.
In addition to that, she teaches Life drawing and Watercolour painting in the Hangar.

Her subjects and teaching style come directly from her experience:
As a portrait painter in watercolours she specialises nowadays in poetic portraits of children. Marina is successful as a Live Painter, creating big canvases of groups or painting small size watercolours of visitors, live, during Parties, Weddings and Business gatherings. Last but not least, her autonomous art is mostly abstract, with large size watercolours on hand made paper and Mandalas on canvas.

Marina has exhibited extensively in the south of France, in Paris and also in Holland, Great Britain, Australia and the United States. She is renowned for her poetic portraits, including that of Queen Beatrice of Holland, commissioned by the Dutch Consulate in Nice.
