Teaches Jewellery-Making

From her earliest years, surrounded by the beauty of nature in the French countryside, Francoise, our new jewellery-making teacher developed a keen eye for detail, colour, and texture. Growing up in Dieulefit, in the heart of the Drôme, she spent her childhood exploring the outdoors—observing wildlife, collecting fossils and stones, planting gardens, and creating necklaces and bracelets from flowers. This unique upbringing, free from the distractions of modern screens, nurtured her creativity and curiosity in a way that continues to inspire her work today.

After earning a Master’s degree in English, she spent two decades in Scotland running a small hotel with her partner. There, her artistic touch was evident in vibrant floral displays and colourful decorations that drew visitors from far and wide, bringing warmth to the grey stone surroundings.

Having returned to France, she has been teaching English to learners of all ages while quietly longing to return to her artistic roots. In 2009, she eventually launched her own business crafting high-quality costume jewellery. Her creations—rings, bracelets, brooches, earrings, necklaces, and more—feature fine materials such as gemstones, freshwater pearls, Bohemian and Swarovski crystals, wood, shells, and metals.

Today, she brings her wealth of artistic experience, love of craftsmanship, and deep appreciation for nature into her jewellery-making classes, guiding students to transform raw materials into unique, personal works of art.
